I am a parent first and foremost. Every teen and young adult I assist is viewed through the lens of a mother’s love and a grandmother’s wisdom. I know exactly what is at risk for my members and their families because I understand the difference between being "into" a situation and being "in tune" with the person. This deep connection makes me a stronger Community Health Worker (CHW) and Certified Peer Specialist.
In today’s world, you have to Advocate, Educate, Litigate, and Navigate daily to preserve the family bond. My passion is dedicated to protecting that bond for children, seniors, the disabled, and those reentering society.
