The Time Is Now

The Time Is Now The Time Is Now

    Honidu Marico

    I Am A Parent First & Foremost

Every teen and young adult I assist, I draw upon my experience as a parent, love for my children and grandchildren. I know what is at risk, and how much it means to my members, their family and community. I personally know what my children and young adults are feeling due to being in tune with each versus into. There is a difference.  This makes me a stronger advocate and coach for them. Every minute you can spend with your children is a blessing and unfortunately daily you have to advocate, educate, litigate, navigate to preserve it.

My passion is dedicated to advocating and coaching children, teens, seniors, disabled and ex-offenders with healthcare, legal, welfare reform and preserving a bond with each in my community and state to state.

For quality assurance my unique approach is dedicated to producing results in economic, product and social development. During my research and studies within the human resource, human services, court rooms and wellness sectors I've had opportunities to speak with countless households regarding family matters. These conversations led me to form a non-profit organization 31 years ago that addresses the most common concerns. Honidu's approach is very Solution Focused, Non-Directive and Value-Based. Daily more parents are becoming Advocates, Coaches and Community Health Workers to make sure no one is kept on hold. The purpose of

the approach is to educate, investigate, motivate and navigate to resolve poverty to self-sufficiency and mental health to a healthy lifestyle. It's my sincere belief having a healthy network will continuously bring net worth to many households in the following order: healthcare services, affordable housing, access to attorneys, legal advocacy, successful entrepreneurs and major employment opportunities will be a great help to my community and many more communities.

If we want to bring down crime statistics, particularly where youths, young adults are concerned, then we need to look at factors that have to do with income, education, employment, disability and mental issues. Through my own approach I Honidu Marico intend to focus primarily on prevention-educating, motivating, navigating, re-entering ex-offenders and many who are more susceptible or likely to go back or stay in the direction of crime followed by intervention and suppression. The unemployed, underpaid, continuously receiving minimum wage, TANF and unmet mental needs.

What is a Legal Advocate ( Non Attorney) ?

It is possible for a private citizen to assist a pro se (self-represented) defendant in litigating a case in state or federal court, acting as a non-attorney representative or legal assistant. While there are rules and limitations on who can practice law, there are situations where non-attorney individuals can provide assistance to pro se litigants. Here are some important considerations:

    1. Pro Se Litigants: Pro se litigants are individuals who choose to represent themselves in legal proceedings without the assistance of an attorney.
    2. Non-Attorney Representation: Some courts and legal systems allow non-attorney individuals, such as friends, family members, or legal assistants, to provide assistance to pro se litigants. This assistance may include helping with paperwork, organizing documents, and providing general guidance on court procedures.
    3. Limitations: Non-attorney representatives typically have limitations on the scope of their involvement. They cannot provide legal advice, make legal arguments, or appear in court on behalf of the pro se litigant. Their role is generally limited to administrative and procedural assistance.
    4. Unlicensed Practice of Law: The practice of law without a license is prohibited in most jurisdictions. However, assisting a pro se litigant with administrative tasks or procedural matters usually does not constitute the unauthorized practice of law, as long as legal advice and advocacy are not provided.
    5. Legal Clinics and Pro Bono Assistance: Some legal clinics, non-profit organizations, and pro bono programs offer assistance to pro se litigants. They may provide non-attorney individuals with training to help pro se litigants navigate the legal system within the bounds of the law.
    6. Court Approval: In some cases, a court may require non-attorney representatives to seek approval or register with the court before assisting pro se litigants. This helps ensure compliance with court rules and ethical standards.
    7. Procedures Vary: The specific rules and procedures governing non-attorney representation can vary by jurisdiction. It's important to check with the court where the case is filed to understand the local rules and requirements.

It's important for non-attorney representatives to be aware of their limitations and to avoid engaging in activities that could be construed as practicing law without a license. The primary goal of non-attorney representation is to help pro se litigants navigate the legal system and access justice effectively. If legal advice or advocacy is needed, it is advisable for the pro se litigant to consult with a licensed attorney.

To all Judges that view this content , our members are not provided legal advice. For monitoring, training, ethical and legality purposes, we solely provide proper education, motivation and major navigation of educating households to know their rights. When you don’t know your rights , you don’t have any. It also seizes the daily of many teens, young adults and households in poverty taking pleas with the bullying and tactics that go with it if he, she or they don’t take a plea bargain. This oppressed systematic mindset seizes once advocated in our office.
